What was the problem in the book, and how was it solved? Be specific.
The problem the book was kid and his family went to Berlin as spies to help found information for
the Americans in the Holocaust and the Nazis made a new jet. The solution was the kid went to look
for blueprints that his friend Fritz’s dad had.
What was the author's purpose or purposes in writing the book? Explain how you know. The author
wrote this book to entertain and inform. I know because the author wrote fictional scenes but he had
facts about the holocaust in the book.
What did the title have to do with the book? Project 1065 is the title. The reason had something to do
with the book is because the new plane was called projekt 1065.
Tell in your own words how the setting of the story made it more interesting. Be specific. The setting
made it really interesting because they were in a blocked off neighborhood and restaurants had
broken windows and many buildings were bombed so they were destroyed.
If one of the characters visited our classroom, what question would you ask them? (Make sure the
question relates to the plot/problem/actions of the story.) *Give the name of the character with the
question!!* I would ask Fritz why did he take the blueprints to school. How did your dad not see you
take them and how didn’t you get caught.
Pretend you are a librarian recommending the book to someone. Write a paragraph telling what you
would say. This what I would tell him/her. This book is really interesting. If you like or want learn
about the holocaust this is a good book for that. Also it is very intense. Also they take a British soldier
into Berlin where many Nazis were looking for him. That is what I would tell them.
If they made a movie of this book, which scene would be most important to include. Explain the
scene with details and why it's important. The scene that should be in the movie is when they snuck
the British soldier into Berlin. That is where lots of Nazis were too.
I lie your book report on the Holocaust because we are learning about the Holocaust in Reading and English class.
