Entertain because the author tries to make the readers laugh when something funny
happens.

The title told readers that Greg and his family were going on a road trip.
Tell in your own words how the setting of the story made it more interesting. Be specific.
Well in the story Greg and his family went to many places in the story. The setting made it
more interesting because the were not just in one spot in the whole story.
If one of the characters visited our classroom, what question would you ask them? (Make sure
the question relates to the plot/problem/actions of the story.) *Give the name of the character
with the question!!*
If one of the characters could come to our classroom it would be Greg. My question to
Greg would be “ What was the road trip like?”
Pretend you are a librarian recommending the book to someone. Write a paragraph
telling what you would say.
I would say “I recommend this book to readers because of all of adventure in the book.
I had a fun time reading the book. In the book it teaches people that you don’t always
get what you want because Greg did not want to go on the road trip, he just want to stay
inside all summer and play video games. That is why I would recommend this book to
other people.
If they made a movie of this book, which scene would be most important to include. Explain the scene with details and why it's important.
The most important scene would when Greg gets bit by Manny’s pet pig.
Although you didn't write a lot, you explained your information very well. I liked the book better than the movie.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I liked is how you descried the problem of the book very detailed and specific even though you used short and simple sentences.
