What was the problem in the book, and how was it solved? Be specific.
The problem is that his friend gave him ,his girlfriend dog and said Ryan had to somewhere
from work and had abandoned his girlfriend dog . He solves this problem by keeping Lucy .
The other problem is Josh found these newborn puppies and at first Josh thought he took
home the wrong car, but he didn’t . The other half of this problem was you only aloud four
puppies in the house, but the problem was solved because he had the vet come over to help
and once they are old enough he can register them ,so he can keep the puppies .
What was the author's purpose or purposes in writing the book? Explain how you know.
To raise awareness of pets that have been abandoned. I know because the main character cares
for a dog and a different litter from a different dog and it made the dogs sad because the owner had
left them.
What did the title have to do with the book
The title has to deal with the book because there are dogs in winter that turn up in very
mysterious and mistreated ways and in the book it says that it was two and a half months til
Christmas and it was in a very blessing way.

The setting made it interesting because it was on a mountain and went down into a circle
down hill and the thing that made this setting interesting because how did the dogs in the car
and how did person know it would freeze the puppies in mountain and how so they know
the climate in the mountain region.

question* I would ask Josh what was it like taking of four puppies and one dog ? I would ask Lucy

and also if you to read stories about abandoned dogs and them getting saved by humans an such a
kind way.

Josh is taking of dogs that have been abandoned by their original owners and are treated well with
