What was the problem in the book, and how was it solved? Be specific.
Aman and his mother need to escape Afghan cave where they live. To go and live
in England with their Uncle Mir’s money. They need to get away from the Taliban.
They want to kill Aman and his mom. Now they got put in this type of jail and need
Matt’s grandfather’s help to get out of there.
What was the author's purpose or purposes in writing the book? Explain how you know.
To change people’s lives and tell them about what it was like for Aman, Matt,
Grandfather, and Aman’s mom. This story is Fiction which means: that it is not real.
I know because reading this book helped me understand it a lot better.
What did the title have to do with the book?
It told about this dog that Aman found on his journey to England.

The setting made it more interesting make making it feel like it was actually
happened. Like it told how the weather was and what people looked like. Also,
they told me what the vehicles looked like.

I would ask Aman how he felt when his mom went to jail. Also, why did you trust
Matt’s grandfather.

I recommend this book for you because it talks about a fiction that seems so real.
It talks about this character named Aman and his life. Aman and his mother go on
this journey all the way to England. They have to go through mean rude guards.
Eventually the are put in this type of jail. They need Matt’s grandfather’s help to get
out. That’s why i recommend this book for you.
If they made a movie of this book, which scene would be most important to include. Explain the
scene with details and why it's important.
How Shadow saves Aman and his mom’s life. Shadow is a Army dog and she smells
out bombs. When they where walking along the road she smelled one and Aman has
a flashback of what this guy said. Then Aman sees the Army men and starts running
after the Army men, and they see what Shadow is doing and tells Aman and his mom
to get back and hide in the ditch and stay down. It’s important because Aman and his
mom could have died along with Shadow.

ReplyDeleteIt was good and I would read this book myself. I think you should take out the double spacing. The Question that says is "you were a librarian recommend this to someone" and your answer to Question didn't make sense(First sentence).
